Ghanaian artiste KiDi has come out to say that most gospel musicians in the country are hypocrite. He also said he is not a demon as being speculated.
According KiDi, people have been made to believe secular artistes are unholy and agents of the devil on earth to win more souls for his kingdom but that perception needs to change because musicians are only trying to bring happiness and joy to people through their crafts and talents.
The “Say Cheese” hit maker also opined that his lost at the 2021 VGMA in the Artists of the Year category to gospel singer, Diana Hamilton doesn’t mean the favour of God is not on him like some people are saying.

“We’re making people happy through music… i keep saying say all the time that most of the gospel musicians are the most hypocrite…because yes you’re a Christian but that does not make you more righteous than me… the fact that am doing say cheese or enjoyment doesn’t make me less righteous.”
KiDi later expressed his dissatisfaction about how the public views secular artistes as agent of the devil even though they dance to thier songs at events.
“You people go to your weddings and funerals after you play Adom and praise God you play Enjoyment and dance buy today you want to put me on the chopping board and paint me as the devil and demon… it’s not right, it’s not cool, it’s not fare,” he told Any Dosty.
KiDi won 4 awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He won EP of The Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year and Highlife Song of the Year.
KiDi just dropped a masterpiece of an album titled “The Golden Boy” and the stats online shows its doing well.
