Allowing Ghanaians to cultivate cannabis can help Ghana make more money than E-Levy – Nana Kwame Gyan
Ghanaian radio personality and presenter NANA KWAME GYAN has also commented on the ongoing E-Levy arguments in the country.
The media personality on Kessben Entertainment show with Kojo Preko Dankwah as the host made mention that, Ghana could CASH OUT big time if the government allows Ghanaians to cultivate Cannabis (Marijuana/weed) after legalizing it for industrial purposes.
In his submission, Nana kwame Gyan popularly known as NKG compared GHANA to some African countries like Morocco that are making or cashing out huge on cultivating Marijuana. He stated that, Morocco makes an annual income of Twenty Three billion dollars ($23 Billion ) with a population of about 36million people similar to that of GHANA with 35million people and converting this amount to GHANA cedis is equivalent to Ghc138 billion which can aid in revamping the economy than the so called E LEVY.
Mike Tyson as an individual makes a million dollar per month and $12 million per year from growing weed/Marijuana, so why can’t Ghana as a nation do similar to reduce its debts rates and increasing so many tax levy from its citizens he concluded.
