Hollywood actor, Bruce Willis is said to retire from the big screens after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that makes it difficult for a patient to speak and write.
The “Die Hard” actor’s family made the revelations on Instagram on Wednesday to his followers and movie lovers.
Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming-Willis through a statement said aphasia is impacting his cognitive abilities”.
“With much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.
“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support,” his family said in their official statement.
Bruce Willis, now 67 has five daughters.

He began his illustrious acting career in the early 1980s and is widely known for playing John McClane in the Die Hard films.
Willis has won many awards and nominations including 5 Golden Globes which he has won one and winning two Emmys out of three nominations.
