Ghana earned an estimated $700,000 as participation money in the 21st edition of the Kirin Cup Soccer tournament held in Japan.
Exclusive information available to DisturbingAfrica.net indicates that the GFA (Ghana Football Association) got $650,000 form organizers of the tournament before accepting to participate.
The Black Stars picked up the third-place spot after beating Chile on penalties on Tuesday and won a prize of $50,000.

The Black Stars lost 4-1 to host nation Japan in their semi-final match last Friday at the Noevir Stadium Kobe in Kobe before beating Chile in the third-place game in Osaka.
Tunisia were champions of the tournament after defeating Japan 3-0 in the final match at the Panasonic Stadium Suita in Osaka.
