Dancehall sing-jay, Epixode, after leaving a lasting impression with his recent performance at the Ghana Music Awards, has embarked on a creativity inclined agenda with the release of his new buzzing music video called ‘Odeshie’ and other planned projects for the remaining of the year.
Since his introduction into the music system years ago, Epixode has cemented his brand with several chat topping songs and over 68 award nominations under his musical belt.
His second single, “Avatar” featuring RudeBwoy Ranking earned him two nominations at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in the New Artist of the Year and Reggae/dancehall Artiste of the Year. He won his first international award as Africa’s most promising act at the Africa Youth Choice Awards held in Nigeria, in 2015.
When it comes to lyrics and style, nothing can understeer the dexterity of Epixode as he has gotten the recognition fit for a regal through his consistent delivery of his creativity. From the streets, Epixode has gained a huge following both home and abroad and has raised the status quo, with his well thought and shot music videos.
Known in real life as Theophilus Nii Ardey Otoo, Epixode also has recorded with some of the hottest musicians of our time including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Medikal, Trigmatic, Okyeame Kwame, David Oscar and Knii Lante, just to mention a few.
Earlier this year, Epixode made news when he was named as the headline artist for the 19-tracks Reggae Collectors new edition of “Miungu Ya Muziki” album which had song from world stars like Bounty Killer, Sean Kingston, Kabaka Pyramid, Gucci Mane and a host of other international artistes.
