The newest generalist TV Station, Emerepa TV ignited the spirit of Highlife music as they treated spare parts dealers and patrons of Obossey Okai to authentic highlife music at the official launch of the station.
The official Launch and Rice festival took place on Friday 25th October at The Abossey Okai Spare parts street.
The whole place came alive as Highlife Legends like Pat Thomas, Paa Solo, Kofi Nti, K k Fosu, Oheneba Kissi and Akosua Adjepong gave and electrifying performance to entertain the crowd who trooped from far and new.
The young generation were not left out as the likes of Odarkey Andy of mentor 1 fame and Rashid metal of “Baafira fame also trilled tje fasn with great performances.
The show begun with soul lifting performance by Gospel Musician, Minister Evangelist Mrs. Abigail Fokuo Brown and Selina Boateng.
As part of the Official Launch of the station, Emerepa TV also Organised rice festival to fet patrons with Assorted Rice and drinks as well as free health screening provide by Alsa Health Clinic.
Dignitaries who grace the occasion were the Chief of Abossey Okai, Nii Abossey Okai III; the CEO of Emerepa TV, Hon. Collins Amoah; the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma Central Constituency, Hon. Jefferson Kwamena Sackey; Chairman of Abossey Okai Spare Parts Street, Hon. Henry Otchere Jr.; and other distinguished personalities.
