Kofi Kinaata: Ghanaians Will Insult My Parents So I Can’t Go Into Politics
Award winning Ghanaian artist, Kofi Kinaata has revealed that he doesn’t have what it takes to become a politician in the future.
According to him, he can’t stand the insults which may be extended to his family because of his political affiliation.
Speaking on Kastle FM, Kofi Kinaata indicated that politics in Ghana is not based on facts hence his decision not to venture into it.
“They will insult my mother so I beg you to leave me out of politics because in my hometown where I come from politics isn’t about facts.
“What you are saying might be true about a certain issue and everyone knows it’s true but because of partisanship they’ll say it’s not true,” Kofi Kinaata said.

“Insulting me personally won’t bother me much but extending it to my parents who might have lived a life that no family member of yours can come closer to but because I’m into politics that’s why you’ll insult them,” he added.
Kinaata, who is known for his well thought about songs said he would rather concentrate on his music career than to engage in politics because he’s not cut for it.
