Oheneyere Gifty Anti Honoured At Women in Entrepreneurship-Ghana (WIEG) Awards 2021
Organizers of Women in Entrepreneurship-Ghana (WIEG) Awards, last Saturday 13th November 2021 honoured prolific veteran Ghanaian journalist Oheneyere Gifty Anti.
The colourful ceremony took place at the Accra Tourist Information Centre.
Media Personality, Stacy Amoateng, Esther Addo of Estaron Balloons, Ambassador Nancy and the first-ever Diaspora Ambassador in the world were also honoured on the night.
The event, which was the maiden edition, sought to showcase women-owned enterprises and celebrate women entrepreneurs from conceivable industries, and in the process shine a national light on their hard work and efforts to improve lives in Ghana.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti was honoured for her support for women and especially young ladies who dare to live their dreams.
The event also saw the young ladies paying glowing tribute to Oheneyere Gifty Anti for being their inspiration and mentor.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti is the CEO of GDA Media. She is a multiple award-winning broadcast journalist and a well-respected motivational speaker in Africa and around the world. A proud product of Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School, she holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and a Masters Degree in International Journalism from City University, London. Oheneyere is the President and founder of the Girl in Need Foundation and the Awo Dansoa Reading Project. She is married to Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa.
