smoking is bad but cigars are used to celebrate success – Sarkodie reply critics

Multiple awards winning Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Sarkodie has rebuked organisations speaking against his recent craze for cigars and ‘bossy’ lifestyle.

According to Sark, such personal attacks on his personality is a clear indication that people still don’t understand the real essence of arts.

Talking to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Sarkodie questioned why these organisations see nothing wrong with other musicians smoking on social media and elsewhere, but choose to write a press statement addressing his recent postings.

Known as Africa’s finest rapper of all time, Sarkodie rubbished claims that suggests he’s having a bad influence on the youths.

“Smoking generally is bad. However, if you do a little research on Cigars, you’d realize it is used to celebrate success; achievements. It’s just a sign victory” he said.

Sarkodie has been trending worldwide for the last few days with the arrival of his latest album titled “No Pressure”. The album is hugely influenced by Hip-Hop and other genres.

For this masterpiece of an album, Sark enrolled some of the big names in world music including US rappers Wale and Vic Mensa.

Sarkodie also has the likes of Giggs, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesi Arthur, MOG, Darko Vibes, Oxlaid, Medikal and a lot more stars.
